Welcome, my name is Pat, and I’m from Glasgow, Scotland. I’ve had a wonderful life working for many years in fine dining restaurants in prestigious settings. I learned under an industry expert Joe Moretti M.W.(Master of Wine). Under his guidance, my knowledge and skill reached an industry peak while working  on the world famous QE2 as Wine Sommelier. From my time  working on-board and travelling  the world, I had a unique insight to life at the top end. This was the ‘golden age’ of cruising but it wasn’t all plain sailing. So, here I will share my fantastic insights not only of the people and places but of styles and trends in food and of course wines of that time.
